Description of the article: Tifoo Alkaline copper plating solution – the product features at a glance: 1000 ml of alkaline copper plating solution ideal for tank- and pen plating 50 g of copper / litre for iron and tin objects Easy to use and free from cyanide This plating solution is ideally suited to plate on materials which are sensitive to acids, like iron, steel or zinc. It allows to copper-plate e.g. material that would be damaged by the acidic copper electrolyte - like for example steel or other iron material. A copper layer protects the iron or steel workpieces from rust and gives them a visually appealing look thanks to the red gleam of this noble metal. Thanks to it's good solderability, galvanic copper-plating is perfect for creating circuit boards and platines. Just use the copper electrolyte together with a copper sheet as anode and you yourself can already copper-plate a component with a bright copper layer. You can find detailed instructions for the product in our online shop. For copper-plating material that is not susceptible to acids, please use the Tifoo Bright copper electrolyte. If you have any questions, we'll be happily at your disposal.Shipping notes: As this item is classified as "hazardous" by REACH / GHS, international shipment is subject to special regulations of the carrier. Description of the article: Tifoo Acidic bright copper plating solution – the product features at a glance: 1000 ml of acidic copper electrolyte with brighteners ideal for tank- and pen plating easy copper-plating by yourself easy application and cyanide-free Tifoo Bright copper electrolyte (acidic) for copper-plating - bright galvanic copper-plating With the bright copper electrolyte (acidic) from Tifoo, you will achieve a very bright copper layer on metal or conducitve surfaces. Please keep in mind that for all the material susceptible to acids (like e.g. iron, steels, zinc or other base metals), it is better to use the Tifoo Copper electrolyte "alkaline"! Copper-plating iron or steel workpieces protects them from rust and gives them an aesthetic surface because of the red gleam of this metal. Thanks to its good solderability, the galvanic copper-plating is ideal for the fabrication of printed circuit boards and circuit boards. You just have to use the copper electrolyte together with a graphite or copper anode and you already can copper-plate a component yourself. The acidic copper electrolyte is especially used for creating thick copper layers in order to use them as a basis for further surface refining. The gleaming effect is only achieved by using an immersion bath; if you use pen plating, the result will be matt. Application and use: For being able to copper-plate zinc or other base-metals, please use the alkaline copper electrolyte. The acidic bright copper electrolyte is compatible with our complete galvanic kit. Please read also our instruction manual and security notes attentively before using the product (see links and downloads below). We recommend the following combination of copper-plating and following galvanic treatments: 1. bright copper electrolyte (acidic) 2. nickel electrolyte 3. gilding or silver-plating recommended voltage for the bright copper electrolyte for tank plating: 2 – 3 volts pen plating (wont create gleaming layers): 3 – 6 volts Shipping notes: As this item is classified as "hazardous" by REACH / GHS, international shipment is subject to special regulations of the carrier. The Tifoo Tank plating equipment deluxe - possibly the most costumer-friendly on the market. Purchase your easy and at the same time professional start in the exciting world of (hobby) electroplating of small objects. You can chose between a 3 A or 10 A power supply. The stronger power supply is especially needed for objects with bigger surfaces and when using electrolytes that need a high current density, like e.g. the copper electrolyte. (5 A pro dm²). The Tifoo zinc electrolyte for example needs a current density of about 2 A / dm² for immersion plating. That means that with a 3 A power supply, you can e.g. galvanize a surface of 1.5 dm² = 100 cm², i.e. for example a metal sheet of 15 x 10 cm. For all bigger parts, it is advisable to work with a 10 A power supply. The electrolytes vary here: for a gold electrolyte bath, 0.3 A pro dm² are enough, whereas chrome needs a current density of 15 A per dm². An overview of each needed current density can be found either in the instruction manuals of the electrolyte in question, or in Tifoo Current density table. For a detailed description of how to use the products, please read the corresponding instruction manual.

Tifoo Copper conductive paint (400 ml) – the product features at a glance:
400 ml of conductive copper paint for electroplating
for airbrush and brush
makes non-conductive material conductive
plating plants and natural objects
easy and filigree application
This galvanic conductive paint on copper base from Tifoo allows you to plate works of art and gifts made of glass, pottery, plastic and a lot of other material with a bright layer of metal in a short time.
Just apply a thin layer of the conductive paint with a brush on the cleaned surface. The copper conductive paste dries until rub-proff in 10 to 15 minutes and therefore allows a quick treatment of the workpieces. The complete drying for perfect resistance on stressed surfaces takes about 12 to 36 hours at room temperature. The varnish can be diluted with butyl acetate. In the next step, the object is connected to a wire and copper-plated in the acidic copper electrolyte from Tifoo. A resistant copper layer will then be deposited. The last step can be used for nickel-plating, silver-plating or even gilding!
Thanks to its low price and the high electrical and thermical conductiveness, the conductive copper varnish is the perfect alternative to the conductive silver varnish. Please keep in mind that the first step has to consist in copper-plating in the acidic copper electrolyte because the conductive varnish won't be activated before. After copper-plating, the metal layer will be wear-resistant.
Suitable material: synthetic material, glass, pottery, plants, wood and a lot of other non-conductive material
Drying time: 5-15 minutes (rub-proof), 1-3 days (complete for maximal requirements)
20 mL are enough for a surface of up to one square metre - very efficient!Shipping notes:

Description of the article: Tifoo Palladium plating solution – the product features at a glance: 1 g of palladium / litre Ideal for tank or pen plating Serves as a barrier layer before gilding to avoid alloyings Easy in use and free from cyanide Tifoo Palladium electrolyte - the non-allergenic alternative to nickel electrolyte. Until today, palladium-plating is a quite rarely used electroplating method. In its function as substitution for galvanic nickel-plating, it can offer some advantages (despite the higher price). So, what are its advantages? Normally, a nickel electrolyte is used to create a barrier layer made of nickel between copper and gold to prevent the two metals from mixing together. The advantages are the following: Palladium is more noble than nickel, that means that there is no corrosion on the surface and the palladium doesn't need to be gilded nor activated like nickel. The deposition speed and the effectiveness are excellent, i.e. there is no unwanted gas formation. This electrolyte deposits silver white, very bright palladium and can be used as a bright "finish". When gilding on it with Tifoo Gold electrolyte and pen plating, you will achieve a perfect result. Unlike the nickel electrolyte, palladium isn't cancerogenic and because of that authorised for private costumers! A very good combination for gilding almost any metal is: copper (acidic), palladium and finally gold.Shipping notes: As this item is classified as "hazardous" by REACH / GHS, international shipment is subject to special regulations of the carrier.
