The answer is an immersion bath in the Tifoo Silver cleaner: it makes tarnished silver bright again. Without a lot of wok, without a lot of polishing. Many silver(-plates) objects like silver cuttlings, jewellery or clocks will have their brightness back - thanks to this cleaning process. Cuttlings made of nickel silver or aplaca can also be treated without any problems. Because of contact with sulfuric compounds (e.g. eggs) or an exposure to air, silver objects blacken relatively fast. To remedy that, you can dip your silver in a bath of Tifoo Silver cleaner and after a little time, you can already take out the cleaned silver. Unlike the common industrial highly toxic silver electrolytes, the handling of this cyaninde-free silver electrolyte is safe. It deposits resistant and aesthetic layers made of fine silver. Thin layers will be bright when deposited, thicker layers are white and can be polished with Tifoo Power Polish until they gleam. This electrolyte is ideal for silver-plating jewellery, for restoring silver cuttlery and for silver-plating of numerous other objects. Thanks to its high silver content of 30 g per litre, this electrolyte deposits silver very fast - that is a big advantage for pen plating, as it reduces the working time. Description of the article: Tifoo Acidic bright copper plating solution – the product features at a glance: 1000 ml of acidic copper electrolyte with brighteners ideal for tank- and pen plating easy copper-plating by yourself easy application and cyanide-free Tifoo Bright copper electrolyte (acidic) for copper-plating - bright galvanic copper-plating With the bright copper electrolyte (acidic) from Tifoo, you will achieve a very bright copper layer on metal or conducitve surfaces. Please keep in mind that for all the material susceptible to acids (like e.g. iron, steels, zinc or other base metals), it is better to use the Tifoo Copper electrolyte "alkaline"! Copper-plating iron or steel workpieces protects them from rust and gives them an aesthetic surface because of the red gleam of this metal. Thanks to its good solderability, the galvanic copper-plating is ideal for the fabrication of printed circuit boards and circuit boards. You just have to use the copper electrolyte together with a graphite or copper anode and you already can copper-plate a component yourself. The acidic copper electrolyte is especially used for creating thick copper layers in order to use them as a basis for further surface refining. The gleaming effect is only achieved by using an immersion bath; if you use pen plating, the result will be matt. Application and use: For being able to copper-plate zinc or other base-metals, please use the alkaline copper electrolyte.
